STORY
After a few months of jamming out some songs at practice we decided that we would record a demo.
Coincidentally enough, the same day we recorded this demo was the same day we played our first show.
Julian was a friend of mine who had a barebones studio setup at his house in Crofton, MD that was
pefrect for recording our first demo. We banged out all the songs (7 originals and two covers) and vocals in a day and then mixed everything
very quickly in time for the first show. We ordered a few pizzas in exchange for Julian's services. After recording, we all
hauled ass to Chris' house where we burned CD-R's for the show. It was pretty incredible that we managed to actually
finish everything in a day. Don't get me wrong, the quality definitely reflects that- but still. Anyways the demo was
originally intended to be all 9 songs that we recorded, until we found out that Bobby from Headcount Records wanted to press
it as a 7". So, we decided to save a few of those songs strictly for the 7". We gave a bunch of these out, sold a few online,
and got rid of the rest on our first tour.
